Booking the Parish Hall
OLM HALL RENTAL
RULES AND REGULATIONS

The Pastor or his designee must approve all applications for use of the OLM Hall. An application must be submitted to OLM along with a nonrefundable $50.00 administration fee to secure the date of use.

OLM reserves the right to refuse approval of use of facility to any person or organization, when it deems such use would not be in the best interest of the Church.

Applicant agrees that actions taken during the usage period are the responsibility of the individual, business or organization making application.

- Applicant agrees that OLM is held harmless in the event of any injury both personal and property that may occur in connection with use.

Applicant acknowledges that any damage to the OLM facilities will be the liability of the individual, business or organization approved for use and shall reimburse the OLM for costs of repair of damage.

Applicant agrees not to exceed 150 occupants in the building at any one time.

Applicant agrees that there will be no smoking inside the facility.

Applicant agrees that all persons and vehicles associated with use will vacate OLM by 12:00 Midnight.

Applicant agrees to leave the facility in the condition found:
Return tables, chairs, benches, podium and any other furniture to diagram location
Sweep the facility
Clean kitchen and bathrooms
Haul all garbage and trash to outside dumpster
All decorations, food and other items brought in must be removed from the premises.
Failure to comply with any of the items listed in this No. 9 will result in forfeiture of the damage/cleaning deposit. Damage/cleaning deposit will be returned within 10 days subject to favorable inspection of the premises following the event.
checklist is provided and MUST be left at the Parish Hall to verify. If you wish to hire someone to clean after your event, Parish Hall can provide a referral.

Applicant agrees not to hang or place objects on the ceilings or walls and not to remove objects presently hanging on walls.

An additional deposit is required to use the Sound System. If applicant uses the sound system, he or she will adhere strictly to written OLM’s guidelines & instructions for its operation and reimburse OLM’s for the repair or replacement cost should the system be damaged during the event.

Applicant wishing to serve alcohol agrees to the following guidelines:

The applicant must hire one (1) POST certified law enforcement officer. The applicant is responsible for paying these officers and must provide proof of the security hired prior to the rental.

A sign (provided by OLM) stating the legal age limit for alcohol beverage consumption must be displayed at all times at or near the area where alcoholic beverages are served.

Applicant agrees to pay all dues and/or fees associated with usage of the Parish Hall preferably no later than 30 days prior to rental. It is mandatory that all fees for usage be paid before event, no exceptions made. In order to receive a full refund, all cancellations must be received 14 days prior to the date of the event or function.

Applicant agrees to share these rules and regulations with anyone hired for the event including caterers, disc jockeys, parking valet, etc. and the person responsible for cleaning must complete the attached checklist.

Parking is limited on the facility and applicant agrees that attendees will not block streets & private driveways or park in unauthorized areas. Any parking off the facility’s grounds is the applicant’s responsibility. For large functions, valet parking is recommended.

Applicant agrees to replace any chairs @ $50.00 and any tables @ $150.00 in the event that there is any damage. Inventory will be taken before and after any event.
