Women's Guild

Women's Guild meets on the second Saturday of every month following the 9:30am mass. All women of the parish are invited.

2011 was a very busy and productive year for the OLM Women¡¦s Guild. In fulfilling our mission to support OLM improvement projects, other OLM organizations, and outside organizations whose actions and goals are in line with our Mission statement, the Guild spent or gave out over $15,000.00!

In directly supporting our parish, the Guild

• Bought the new chairs for the Parish Hall,
• Donated money towards the purchase of the bronze dedication plaque in the Narthex,
• Donated money to help buy kitchen supplies,
• Bought new linens and vestments for the church,
• Bought the new Catholic Catechism for the Living in the Light program,
• Donated funds towards the spring trip of the Living in the Light group,
• Gave the CFF program money, and Gave funds to the Saint Vincent de Paul Society to help them in their mission of caring for those in need.

Outside organizations receiving donations from the Women¡¦s Guild included

• Good Samaritan Health and Wellness Center,
• CARES,
• The North Georgia Pregnancy Center,
• Joy House, and The Marine Corps League.

All of this was possible because of the support of you wonderful parishioners for our fundraisers and other projects over the year.

All women of the parish are invited to join us as we embark on 2012. Our next meeting is Saturday, February 11th at 10:00 a.m. in the Parish Hall. Please come and join us as we continue to serve our parish and community.
